Like the university of pheonix? If I got a B.S. in information systems @ the online university of pheonix could I get into the Navy OCS or would the navy not accept that because it’s not presitgous?

Any accredited college, including those that are online, are acceptable for applying for a commission. A large number of prior-Enlisted Officers do just that (Troy State, Excelsior, Southern Illinois) and NEVER set foot on the actual campus. There’s no shame in that game.
Don’t be concerned about being laughed at or prestige, UNLESS you get a degreee from South Harmon Institute of Technology. [smile]
Keep in mind, some online degree programs may run you a bit more ($$) than say – going to a Community/Junior College first and then finishing at a State University. Community Colleges are a great transition from HS or for those who haven’t been to school in a long time. There are just as many, if not more, scholarship opportunities going into AND graduating from a community college.

As long as the school is recognized by the US Dept of Ed as a real school. The one you mentioned works with the military as do many others.
